Pediatric ENT Care

Every day we care for children suffering from ENT disorders such as ear infections, tonsillitis, sinus infections and obstructive sleep apnea. Our team has decades of combined pediatric ENT experience, including the only pediatric ENT fellowship-trained doctor in the region. We put children, and their parents, at ease and offer safe, effective treatment plans.

Our Treatment of Pediatric ENT Disorders Includes:

  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea
  • Cleft Palate/Lips

Ear Infections (Otitis Media)

Parents should seek the care of an ENT specialist for their child’s ear infections if:

  • There are four or more ear infections a year
  • Antibiotics have proven ineffective
  • Ear infections are affecting the child’s hearing

Ear tubes can often put an end to recurring ear infections for most children. Without persistent ear infections, kids (and their parents) feel better and sleep better without the need for antibiotics. Prolonged antibiotic use can cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.

Tonsils and Adenoids

The tonsils and adenoids are located in the back of the throat and are part of the immune system. Unforunately, when these areas become infected or are too large, it can cause breathing problems, nasal obstruction, swallowing problems and sleeping issues. Removing a child’s tonsils and/or adenoids can eliminate these problems.
