Dr. Devon Chesson obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development with a double minor in Audiology and Deaf Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She then moved to Kansas and earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Wichita State University. Dr. Chesson joined Asheville Ear, Nose & Throat in June 2022 as a clinical audiologist. She is part of the adult cochlear implant team, fulfilling her passion in audiology by helping patients reconnect with their families. She also works with bone conduction hearing devices, extended wear hearing aids, and traditional amplification.

Dr. Chesson lives in Asheville with her husband and their two dogs, Ollie and Frankie. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, camping, floating on the river, and game nights with their friends and family. They also enjoy the occasional trivia night and music bingo. Dr. Chesson’s favorite weekend activities include line dancing with her friends and watching the sunset.
