Caroline “Carrie” Wentz, AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Carrie Wentz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Virginia University. She then moved to Florida and obtained her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Wentz joined Asheville Ear, Nose & Throat in June 2020 as a clinical audiologist.
Dr. Wentz was inspired to become an Audiologist based on her personal experience of being born with bilateral hearing loss. Today, she wears bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA) and is a vital part of the cochlear implant team at Asheville Ear, Nose and Throat. She also assists patients with BAHA & Osia implants, hearing aid fittings and follow up care, vestibular evaluations, auditory brainstem response testing, and general hearing evaluations.
Dr. Wentz lives in Asheville with her husband. They enjoy visiting their families in West Virginia, hiking, kayaking, playing soccer, and cuddling with their three dogs.
